Looking to book a ski trip to Tahoe and wondering when the best time of year was to have the best chances of good snow. Anyone have advice?

On good seasons any time between January and mid-April is always good in Tahoe area. 2008-2009 season is really bad tho. It has been too warm and too dry. Currently most resorts are not open yet. Very sad. Not enough snow. I am guessing for this season, your best bet is mid-February to March.

Usually in the winter time. Figure out where you are going to stay and ask them. They will be able to help.

The best snow is just like when were the fish biting. Last week or next week, never when you are there.
