I just bought a north face fleece on ebay idk if its real
all the tags are on the jacket and also on the inside the tags are stiched on but idk it smells kinda weird so idk if its fake or i just have to wash it and see if the smell will go away.? can anyone give me and details on more ways to find out if its fake or not. ?

Well, most of the "fakes" are actually made in the factory in China after hours, so they might have some bad stitching or a few unnoticeable flaws. If it smells strongly like bad plastic or a petroleum scent, it is probably fake–they don’t use crappy fleece.
But your biggest indication would be that you bought it on ebay for what was probably a "good" buy–you get what you pay for. If it’s not what you want, sell it again on ebay and invest in a real one.
