Can someone suggest a good resort to stay in or what I should do for fun at night…Never been but looking forward to it! It’s Snow Shoe Shoe Ski Resort in West Virginia!

snowshoe is in the middle of no where. you are going to stay at snowshoe or silver creek unless you want a lengthy drive in every day or if you want the bad-at best accommodations that are offered off mountain. The inn at snowshoe is their least expensive and is at the Base, which is only a few min drive….all lodging at snowshoe is at the top of the mtn and you ski down from there…kinda cool. its fun. has a western feel, but to me, they have about priced themselves out of the southeast skiing market. I can fly out west (with deals) and it be less expensive that driving to WVA and being at snowshoe.
