It depends on what mountain you go to. Colorado has some of the best skiing in the country and this is suppose to be a pretty snow-filled winter. Unless you’re skiing multi black diamond runs (ridiculously steep runs for very experienced skiers) you’ll be fine. We’re already skiing in Washington and if you’re sticking to the intermediate runs, it should be pretty good. You can always check the open runs on the mountain to get a feel for the conditions and availability. You could try emailing them and asking what runs are usually closed around that time.
If you’re worried about general snow cover, just as far as uncovered trees, I wouldn’t be.
