Are the Winters That Bad in Alaska?

Im about ot move to alaska and i know the summers are wonderful, but are the winters as bad as everyone mkaes them out to be. Also what is there to do in Alaska in the winter. Im going to be in Anchorage, and i do enjoy snow skiing. Any insight on the winter in Alaska?

well, it’s great there, who cares about the winter? if other people can live there, why u couldn’t? ya, it might be a bit cold and the winters may be bad, but i’m sure u can ski…well, enjoy it!!! i’d like to have the opportunity to go there too…
